Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms before using WebMaintor's services.

📅 Effective Date: June 28, 2026 🏢 WebMaintor, North 24 pgs , kolkata , barrrackore - 119

By engaging WebMaintor for any service — whether through our website, phone, email, or WhatsApp — you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

WebMaintor provides website maintenance, WordPress support, website development, hosting assistance, business email setup, and AI chatbot setup services for businesses, primarily in India.

The specific scope of work for each project or plan is agreed upon before work begins. Any changes to scope during the project will be discussed and quoted separately.

2. Service Limitations

WebMaintor provides technical website services. We do not guarantee:

  • Specific Google search rankings
  • Increased sales or revenue
  • Ad campaign results
  • Third-party platform performance (hosting uptime, email delivery guarantees)

We provide skilled, professional work aimed at improving your website's performance, security, and functionality. Results depend on many factors outside our control.

3. Client Responsibilities

For WebMaintor to provide its services effectively, clients are expected to:

  • Provide timely access to website admin, hosting, and relevant accounts.
  • Share accurate information about existing problems or requirements.
  • Respond to queries within a reasonable timeframe (typically 48 hours).
  • Ensure that any content provided (text, images, logos) is owned or licensed by the client.
  • Keep their hosting and domain renewals current (we send reminders but are not responsible for lapses).

4. Payment Terms

  • Monthly plans — Payment is due at the start of each month before services begin.
  • One-time projects — 50% advance payment is required before work starts; the remaining 50% is due upon project completion.
  • Invoices — All invoices must be paid within 7 days of receipt unless otherwise agreed.
  • Payment methods — We accept bank transfer, UPI, and other agreed methods. Details are shared on the invoice.

5. Website Access and Backups

When you grant WebMaintor access to your website, hosting, or related accounts, you accept that:

  • We will take a full backup before making any changes.
  • We will limit our access to what is necessary for the agreed work.
  • You retain full ownership of your website, content, and data.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing issues on your website that are unrelated to the agreed scope of work.

6. Third-Party Services

Some of our work involves third-party tools and services such as hosting providers, email platforms, payment gateways, and Google services. WebMaintor is not responsible for the performance, pricing changes, or policy changes of these third-party services.

7. Intellectual Property

Once full payment is received, all custom work created for you (website design, code, content) becomes your property. WebMaintor retains the right to use general techniques and approaches in future work with other clients, but will not reuse your specific designs or proprietary content.

8. Confidentiality

WebMaintor treats all client information, website access credentials, and business details as confidential. We do not share this information with third parties except as required to complete the agreed work or comply with legal obligations.

9. Limitation of Liability

WebMaintor's liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific service in which an issue arose. We are not liable for:

  • Loss of revenue or business during downtime
  • Third-party hosting or email service failures
  • Data loss caused by third-party factors outside our control
  • Indirect or consequential losses

10. Termination

Either party may end a monthly maintenance plan with 7 days' written notice before the next billing date. For project work, termination terms are agreed on a case-by-case basis. Completed work up to the termination date is billable at the agreed rate.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved through mutual discussion first. If unresolved, disputes will be handled in the jurisdiction where WebMaintor operates.
